Fan guards have a dual function and are intended both to protect the rotor and secondly to provide an elegant eye-catcher. This is a classically shaped steel Fan Guard for 140mm fans. This prevents accidental contact of the fingers or around hanging cables to the fan blades. This protects cables, fingers, and the fan itself, as well as the suspension and the fan blades can be damaged, which can adversely affect life expectancy.

The screws are required for mounting or securing an alternative system not supplied.
