Overview

The pump DDC-1T Pro, which is offered here by XSPC is a so-called electronically commutated spherical motor pump. Here is a spherically shaped rotor unit moves in a similarly shaped housing - only by the surrounding magnets held in this position.

In practice, this works then as follows: The water is introduced via the upper-central inlet, flows through the central bore of the rotor unit down and is conveyed there by the rotation on the outside along upwards and accelerated, where according to the output sits. The most obvious advantage of this design is the minimum area of contact between the moving parts, for this is limited to the ceramic ball.

Thus, there is first a minimal transfer surface for vibration, resulting in a very low noise level. But especially in continuous use may show its performance this principle: Increased clearance and thus a volume increase can not be associated principle. A lubrication is not necessary, since this makes the water itself.
