Thermal Grizzly from Hamburg is a new German brand that has taken up the fight against high temperatures and poor heat transport. The goal is to supply the overclocker scene with high-performance thermal conductivity products, which are still a weak point - but the product portfolio can also be used for better and quieter cooling of gaming computers, workstations, mini-PCs and many other purposes. In addition to higher clock rates, better thermal conductivity products enable quieter cooling and a longer service life for the components to be cooled.
In order to achieve these goals, Thermal Grizzly worked closely with the well-known extreme overclocker Roman "der8auer" Hartung on product development and tested it, developed chemical compositions and analyzed competitors. The first thermal paste products, namely Kryonaut, Hydronaut and Aeronaut, were enthusiastically received by the community and caused a sensation in the overclocking scene due to their superior performance.
Thermal Grizzly is now presenting the new Conductonaut. For the first time a high-performance paste based on liquid metal, consisting of a eutectic alloy, which is intended for use at room temperature. Thanks to a special mixing ratio of the metals tin, gallium and indium, an enormously high thermal conductivity is achieved, along with excellent long-term stability. Thanks to the liquid components, even tiny pores and gaps can be leveled out and filled, which is only possible to a limited extent with conventional thermal paste due to the solid particles. The metallic surface of the cooler and accompanying heatsink is coated in the compound.
The thermal conductivity is decisive for the performance of a Thermal Interface Material (TIM). Consisting only of the aforementioned metallic substances, the Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut liquid metal thermal paste is compared to alternatives, e.g. B. on a silicone basis or only to a small extent on solid oxides (such as silver) or other metallic additives existing pastes and has an almost unrivaled thermal conductivity of about 73 W / mK. Overclockers and silent fans in particular will appreciate the resulting advantages.
Overclockers beware! With this paste, the temperature of the processor can be reduced by a few degrees without having to buy a new cooler. The application of the liquid metal is also surprisingly easy, especially since the manufacturer includes the necessary accessories. If you are still unaccustomed to using it the first time, you should get the hang of it after the second use at the latest. Nevertheless, the precautionary measures mentioned below must be observed!
n addition, the Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut high-performance paste is extremely economical. The filling quantity of one gram of liquid metal is sufficient for more than 10 applications. And if a little too much liquid metal gets onto the processor, it can simply be sucked back into the syringe. Correct dosage is therefore very easy to achieve. On average, half a grain of rice is sufficient for a processor. Various web and print magazines have already underpinned the clear predominance of this unique thermal paste in extensive tests and reviews. If you want to overclock or want a system that is as quiet as possible with optimal cooling performance, you should grab it here!
