State-of-the-art technology for optimum precision
The matt-black premium housing contains only high-quality components, which ensure excellent control and maximum precision. An optical PixArt PMW3360 sensor works with 100 - 16,000 DPI and has a sampling rate of 1,000 Hz at 1 ms response time thanks to a USB connection. The mouse accelerates at 7.62 meters per second and handles all surfaces very well. However, if laser scanning is more appropriate, the Rival 700 optical sensor can be replaced by an optional PixArt 9800 laser sensor. Switching is possible in seconds, since the sensor is fixed with only four screws.

Equipped with seven freely programmable keys, the SteelSeries Rival 700 is the ideal companion for various types of games. Both main switches are equipped with high-quality and robust switches and have a lifetime of 30 million clicks. A further button as well as the 4-way mouse wheel are located on the top of the mouse and enable very fast commands. Also useful are the three thumb buttons on the left side of the mouse, which allow a natural movement and are easy to reach.

The ergonomic design of the Rival 700 is suitable for three types of grips. Whether palm, claw or fingertip grip, the mouse can be held either with the complete palm of the hand or the fingertips of the right hand. The rear cover of the mouse is structured and allows optimal control even with sweaty hands. However, this cover can also be exchanged for an optionally available smooth and glossy cover so that you get exactly the right look and feel for every game.
Automatic vibration function for additional feedback
The SteelSeries Rival 700 is equipped with an automatic vibration function, which can trigger a tactile message for various events in games. Decide for yourself which of these events should trigger a vibration feedback, whether slow outgoing ammunition or an anesthetic ingame. Via the GameSense function of the SteelSeries Engine 3, the vibration feedback can be directly coupled with selected games and configured. The vibration does not disturb your other movements with the mouse. Due to the carefully selected placement in the housing, the impulses are sent only upwards in the direction of the hand and not to the right or left. Maustracking is therefore not adversely affected.
OLED display & 2-zone RGB lighting
Of course, the SteelSeries Rival is also equipped with RGB LED lighting, because nowadays you can hardly get anywhere without! The mouse wheel and the logo on the back can be individually illuminated. In addition to the static lighting, several effects are also possible. All this can be set in the easy-to-use software "SteelSeries Engine 3", as well as all configurations for macros, profiles, mouse assignments and more.

As a special treat, SteelSeries provides the Rival 700 with an OLED display on the front left side, which can be used to display useful information (e.g., DPI, gold per minute or shot accuracy). Even a personalized logo or even animated GIFs can be displayed on the display. A completely new way of individualization. For owners of a 3D printer, the "Rival" lettering on the rear end of the mouse can be replaced by a printed lettering.
