The VARIO potentiometer is the perfect solution to control any fan with a power consuption of up to 3W for more quiet operation at an affordable price.

The high-quality potentiometer casing is made from metal (Please make sure that it has no contact with any electrical parts!)

The cable has a length of approximately 50cm.

A beautifully designed (removable) aluminium knob is also included.
The rpm signal is looped through.

The Vario can be installed in a free 3.5" or 5.25" bay (a small hole must be drilled), as the vario features a mounting thread.

With the potentiometer, which is connected between fan and power source (Mainboard of PSU + adaptor) to adjust the speed of the connected fan. Depending on the type of fan the noise emissions can almost be halved.

(Example: The NB-UltraSilentFan 1.2W can be adjusted down to 7V, these values depend on the power consumption of the fan)
