Noctua NF-P14 has become a standard solution for PC enthusiasts who need the 140mm fan in premium quality. Through extensive aerodynamic optimization of the NF-A14 achieved compared to its renowned predecessors even higher static pressure and a again improved ratio of airflow and noise.
Square 140mm frame
With its square frame and 140mm mounting holes (124,5mm hole spacing) of the NF-A14 is an ideal premium upgrade for standard 140mm case fan. At the same time it is perfectly suited for use on 140mm water cooling radiators, where the square shape guarantee full coverage of the fins and thus best printing performance.
Flow Acceleration Channels
The impeller of the NF-A14 is equipped with suction called Flow Acceleration Channels. By speeding up the airflow in the critical outer regions of the fan blades suction vortex shedding can be reduced, resulting in a higher efficiency and a lower turbulence induced noise emission.
AAO frame system
Noctua's AAO (Advandced Acoustic Optimisation) frames have built-vibration buffer and a stepped inlet area (Stepped Inlet Design) and a microstructure inside (Inner Surface Microstructures), which enable even better performance / noise efficiency.
Stepped Inlet Design

Through the stepped inlet area of the Stepped Inlet designs created more turbulence in the feed. So the transition from laminar to turbulent flow is facilitated, better the frame adhering (Flow Attachment) and thus, in particular increasing the absorptive capacity of the fan with limited intake.
Inner Surface Microstructures
The microstructure inside the frame (Inner Surface Microstructures) creates a boundary layer, by moving the tips of the fan blades. This reduces the flow separation on the suction side of the blade tips, resulting in a considerable reduction in the Drehtons and an increase of the pressure and air flow efficiency.
Integrated anti-vibration pads
Made from extra soft silicone anti-vibration pads reduce the transfer minimal vibration and are also compatible with all standard screws and standard mounting systems or CPU coolers used fan clips.
SSO2 stock
The NF-A14 is equipped with the further optimized second generation of Noctua grade SSO-bearing system. SSO2 at the back magnet is closer to the fan axis, thus causing an even better stabilization, resulting in a further improved precision and durability.
Metal bearing shell

To guarantee the highest level of manufacturing precision, tight tolerances and excellent long-term stability, the NF-A14 accesses a CNC milled back bearing shell made of brass.
Smooth Commutation Drive 2
Latest enhanced version of Noctua's advanced SCD drive system ensures by eliminating torque variations and switching noises outstanding quietness. This makes the NF-A14 itself surprisingly quiet close.
2 speed settings for maximum quietness
The ULN (Ultra-Low-Noise) version provides with the included adapter 800rpm and 650rpm settings and is perfectly suited for silent enthusiasts who demand super-slow speeds and minimal noise.
Comprehensive connectivity options
During the short 20cm primary cable helps in typical applications, to avoid clutter, provides the supplied 30cm extension Extra coverage for all eventualities. Both cables are fully sleeved and a 3: 4-pin adapter enables direct connection to the power supply.
Ultra low power consumption
Despite its further improved performance, the power consumption of the NF-A14 ULN is only 0,48W. So the fan is not only environmentally friendly, but also helps you to reduce the electricity bill!
