With the Lian Li PC-Q39GWX, brushed aluminum is skillfully combined with a side panel of tinted tempered glass. However, Lian Li goes a step further and equips the left-hand chamber of the Mini-ITX case with a front of hard-glass. The front is made of brushed aluminum and is framed on both sides by ventilation slots. On the front of the housing is the front panel with two USB 3.0 ports, the two mandatory audio connectors and a USB 3.1 type C connector that can be plugged in at both ends.

The Lian Li PC-Q39GWX can accommodate a mini ITX motherboard, a 300-mm long 3-slot graphics card and a CPU cooler up to 120 mm in the left-hand chamber. For the installation of AiO water cooling, the case offers the possibility to install a radiator up to 240 mm length, 120 mm width and 80 mm depth in the cover.

Two 120mm fans or a single 140er fan can also be installed in the bottom of the left chamber, while the rear can accommodate two 80mm fans. The right chamber accommodates the hardware, which hardly radiates heat and does not have to be cooled particularly. In addition to the power supply and a lot of space for cable management, you can store data here.

A modular HDD rack is used to mount the data memory. On this rack, two 3.5-inch drives and a single 2.5-inch SSD or SSHD can be installed. One more SSD can be installed instead of the 80 mm fan in the back of the left chamber as well as on the mainboard tray.

The Lian Li PC-Q39GWX is slightly elevated on a small pedestal to allow cool air to enter the enclosure through the dust-filtered floor. Due to the chimney principle, the warm air rises upwards, where it escapes through the cover, which is also provided with a dust filter. The hardware installation is particularly easy with the removable side parts and the cover.
