Overview

To adjust the cooling performance and volume evolution of the PC 's own and each changing requirements , this control allows direct access via six channels . The manufacturer Lamptron thus chose a classic layout with knobs .

These are housed in a massive , black aluminum bezel in the 5.25- inch format and provided for corresponding slots. According to the manufacturer , each of the six channels can be loaded with a maximum of 30 watts. The stepless adjustment via knob offers and a bandwidth from 0 to 12 volts.

Thanks to six movable unit temperature sensors, heat output can always be kept in view in order to select the optimum speed. The sensors are mounted on the tips of extra-long cables . Since the 3- pin fan cables have a generous dimensioning , remote sites can be achieved in big- tower chassis itself .

The control is then connected via 4-pin Molex to the PSU and power from this . In addition to the high functionality of the FC5 Fan Controller Lamptron convinces with a cool look. Besides the high quality material, this choice falls mainly on the lighting. Thanks to multi-color LEDs can all sixteen colors are represented . Their choice is via jumpers on the back.

Additional jumpers allow to change the temperature units between degrees Celsius and Fahrenheit , and the (de ) activation of the alarm function . These reports possibly critical temperatures.
