This pump is the world's first pump to be used in serial production, water-cooled workstations and is ideally suited for water cooling of processors and other electronic components. Thanks to its compact design and performance so it can be used for a multitude of other applications. This pump is an electronically commutated motor pump ball Which offers running times of more than 50.000hrs Significantly at 12 volts. The only moving part in a ball pump motor is the spherically shaped rotor unit Which is resting on an ultra-hard, ceramic bearing ball was free. A conventional shaft with bearings and gaskets is not needed! The spherical bearing of the rotir unit on a ceramic bearing ball offers a multitude of advantages: The development of bearing play is not possible with this design, hence keeping noise emissions to a minimum over the whole life span of the unit. The bearing is so self-adjusting and lubricated directly by the Transported medium (wet rotor design). Maintenance of the pump hence becomes obsolete. As the rotor is held in place magnetically even smaller particles pose no problem for the surgery of the pump. Blocking of the pump is virtually impossible under normal circumstances. Even after a longer period of non-operation of the unit a safe start is ensured. The permanently magnetic rotor unit is driven by a magnetic field produced by the surrounding Which is stator. This stator is built completely around the rotor. Hence the whole pump with its 38mm of height is only slightly taller than the stator itself. It fits easily into all hence common PC, Barebone and Mini PC cases. A separate magnetic shielding is usually not required. The ball motor principle Allows energy-saving surgery with Comparatively high performance. Voltage variation by the DC-operated pump can easily be adjusted in power. All materials in contact with the medium are completely corrosion resistant.

This replaces the black top cover of the standard Laing DDC-1T and Laing DDC pumps 1Plus and adds many additional and very useful features. One of the most important is the use of 3/8 "threads Which makes you independent of the barbs on the original cover. The use of 3/8 "threads, have a much larger Which inner diameter than the common 1/4" threads on Laing covers, so this cover makes the ultimate choice for high flow applications.
Rebuilding of the pump to use this cover is easy: Simply remove the 4 screws at the bottom of the pump and lift off the original cover. Then insert the four screws included instead of the original ones and put the cover on top of the pump. Simply tighten the screws and you are set to go!
To Ensure a safe seal of the cover simply leave the original O-ring gasket in its place during installation.

Optionally this cover also offers The Possibility for installation of the pump decoupled into a 3.5 "drive bay. For use of this feature only one of our kits decoupling (. Prod. 13701) is required to allow quick, compact and decoupled installation of the pump.

This cover is also the base for installation of a reservoir on this pump. The optional reservoir, available at the product number 13 905, can simply be screwed onto the cover and the COLING loop comes to life!

IMPORTANT: We recommend the use of lubricating water additives tested as AT or Innovatek Protect Protect Plus. Anti-Corro fluid is not recommended!

Please note: Due to the performance of this pump it may only be used in a loop with at least one waterblock. When used without load the pump may be damaged!

Please note: The electronics on this Laing pump is not water-resistant. Please always make sure to avoid any contact of the pump with water. When replacing the top makes sure that the gasket is correctly in position and if you are filling a reservoir Laing top make sure that no coolant is spilled. Damages by water / coolant are not covered by the warranty and will not be replaced by Laing!

Why is there a Swiftech Laing and a version? What are the differences?
There are no differences! But why the two versions? The explanation is as follows: Laing produces all pumps in Hungary. One version is intended for sale overseas and one is intended for the European market. The pumps are hence completely Themselves identical, the only difference lies in the labeling. One is labeled as Swiftech Swiftech as is the distributor for the U.S. market. The other version is just plain black. The pumps are more affordable Swiftech shipped including vibration absorbers, the standard pumps have investigated absorbers included. Every other feature tested as performance, flow rates or pressure head is absolutely identical!
