Sound-free cable management is becoming increasingly important in today's computer-modding scene, but it can also provide decisive advantages for Otto-Normal-Gamer, such as improved airflow or more space in the system. With the EVGA PowerLink power adapter the connections of a graphics card can be installed. Thus, the power connectors are no longer at the side of the graphics card, but at the rear. As a result, cable management can in most cases be made more subtle and, in particular, easier to install.

The PowerLink is supplied with two 8-pin connectors and a 6-pin connector (s) for connecting to the graphics card. This allows most connection configurations to be covered. Whether your graphics card has a single 6-pin, 8-pin or even 8 + 8-pin, 8 + 6-pin or 8 + 8-pin connector, the PowerLink is all covered. The connectors can be exchanged quickly and easily and adapted to the corresponding configuration of your graphics card. At the rear, the PowerLink adapter has two 8-pin connectors, which in turn can be connected to the power supply.

Regarding the compatibility with graphics cards, EVGA does not give exact details, but it can be assumed that the adapter is compatible with modern EVGA graphics cards and can even be connected to other manufacturers' cards, even if the power adapters are placed accordingly. Please note that the heat sink does not protrude over the PCB and that the power connectors are located correspondingly far at the rear end of the graphics card. In case of doubt you should ask the manufacturer for compatibility.
