The housing of the reservoir is made of high quality polyoxymethylene (POM) Acetal and provided to the front side with acrylic glass. The reservoir provides anti-vortex deposits of acrylic, which effectively prevent air bubbles can get into the circulation of cooling water again.

Two G1 / 4-inch ports allow installation of virtually any fitting G1 / 4-size. EK recommends Compression Fittings EK-CSQ series. This unit also includes a G3 / 8-port on the lid, which serves as a fill port for filling the coolant.

The EK-D5 DBAY PWM incl. Pump is equipped with anti-vibration rubber. These hold the reservoir and the pump quiet in which they dampen the vibrations that are transmitted to the housing. At the back of the D5 pump is integrated, which makes it a perfect combination and this is very space efficient. A mounting system and a simple operating instructions are included.

The reservoir fits all current housing and take when installing two 5.25-inch bays to complete. Modifications to the PC housing are not necessary. After attaching the supplied plug the water reservoir is completely airtight and watertight so that water can not ausdringen. Especially in black housings, the EK-BAY fits unobtrusively and does not affect the appearance of the cases.
