Bluetooth wireless streaming is a widely used option for wireless music playback. However, there are inevitable disadvantages in the form of low bandwidth, which often results in audio quality and is therefore not sufficient for demanding applications. The BT-W2 not only uses sub-band coding (SBC) for wireless transmission, but also supports the aptX Low Latency Codec, which is perfect for delivering high-quality audio signals via Bluetooth.

In contrast to other Bluetooth transmitters, the BT-W2 also supports a real "Bluetooth voice-back channel", which sends voice signals from the headset back to the transceiver, thus permitting crystal-clear wireless communication.
