The mouse bungee of Cougar is a very effective solution to the gamer conflict between cable-bound and corded mice. The bungee allows free movement of the mouse without the cable touching the table or the mouse pad due to its flexible arm and the canting of the mouse cable, which leads with a cable-bound mouse to a comfortable playing feeling like with a wireless rodent. The height in which the mouse cable leaves the bungee is about 11.5 cm. The cable no longer needs to be "ground" with every movement. A hooking on the edge of the table or other obstacles is thereby effectively prevented, whereby movements can be carried out much more freely.

Cougar also catered for high stability and attached a suction cup attachment to the bottom of the bungee, which can be attached to a wide range of substrates and provides an always safe standing.
