Overview

Corsair now offers a broad portfolio of efficient and powerful all-in-one water cooling to, the entry-level system to the high-end, everything is represented. To the latter genus is one very clear that Hydro H80i GT. Compared to many other AIO-water cooling, it has a particularly thick heat whereby the surface for heat dissipation massively increases and a very high power is possible.

Details

The bottom of the heat sink absorbs the heat of the processor and routes them thanks to copper base plate efficiently to the water on. This in turn is pumped by the pump direction radiator, where the cooling liquid flows through a fine lamellar structure and transfers heat to the air flowing through. The fan again ensures that the radiator is constantly supplied by fresh air. Compared to its predecessor the H80i GT was further optimized, now looks a little fancier and now has jacketed hoses.

The H80i GT has two very powerful fan from the Corsair Air Series, more precisely, two SP120L PWM. Has been optimized for high static pressure, which is important for the operation together with a radiator. These offer specially made blades in the 120-mm fans a better relationship between the static pressure and noise and therefore higher performance with less noise than ordinary fans. By the push-pull configuration, a higher performance is possible than with only one fan. The fans are connected via the included Y-cable directly to the pump unit. It receives its power via an additional SATA power connector.

Of the other i-models from the Corsair Hydro Series known is the Corsair Link feature - simply the attached Corsair Link cable to connect to a USB header on the motherboard and download the free Corsair Link Dashboard software. Thus, the coolant temperature can be monitored by the application and the cooling performance can be controlled. The software also allows the adjustment of color effects, because the Corsair logo on the pump using RGB LEDs in every conceivable color and for example, depending on the coolant temperature can be illuminated.
