It can easily be mounted on modern AMD or Intel sockets and is therefore the ideal entry into the area of water cooling. Due to its compact design, the H45 can be installed very well in housings that provide little space.

All compact Wakü systems combine the basic design: they consist of two parts - the radiator and the heat sink. While the radiator on the H45 is mounted on a 120-way fan slot - preferably on the back of the housing - the radiator is located on the CPU. The special feature of the H45 is, however, that the compensating tank is located directly on the radiator and not as in AiOs evil, directly at the cooling block. This makes the pump unit particularly flat and can therefore be comfortably installed in systems with little space.

The bottom of the cooler absorbs the waste heat from the processor and conducts it efficiently to the water thanks to copper. This is in turn pumped by the pump in the direction of the radiator, where the cooling liquid flows through a fine lamellar structure and delivers the heat to the air flowing through. The fan in turn ensures that the radiator is constantly supplied with fresh air.

The powerful coolant system for high-performance processors does not require complex line connections. The Hydro Series H45 is a prefilled closed system, which must never be refilled. Specially designed wings in the 120mm fan offer a better ratio between static pressure and noise level and thus higher performance with less noise.

Especially in compact housings, tower air coolers can usually not be used for reasons of space. In the case of the H45, however, only the flat cooler must sit directly on the CPU. The radiator can be placed quite freely, taking into account the hose length. The modular design facilitates installation and is compatible with Intel and AMD processors. The mounting system of the H45 is suitable for the Intel sockets 115x, 1366, 2011 (V3) as well as the AMD sockets AM2 (+), AM3 (+), FM1 and FM2 (+).
