The black Corsair Carbide 400Q midi tower has a noble look of solid steel and creates a sporty look with its side air intakes. The I / O panel in the lid has two audio connectors, one power and reset button, one status LED and two USB ports in the 3.0 standard.

Two individually removable covers for the optional ATX power supply and floor-mountable 3.5-inch hard drives make the interior of the Corsair Carbide 400Q Midi-Towers very clean and allow for optimized airflow in the enclosure. In addition to a large recess in the mainboard tray for mounting CPU and CPU coolers, which can be up to 170 mm high, there are several rubberized openings for cable management in the MB tray. Up to three SSDs can be hidden on the rear of the tray.

The interior of the Midi tower, which is very simple due to the PSU cover and the absence of optical drive shafts, can accommodate up to 370 mm long graphics cards. There are two preinstalled fans for sufficient ventilation. In addition to the pre-installed 140 mm fan in the front, a second 140 fan can be installed, while optionally up to three 120 fans can be mounted. The second preinstalled fan, a 120mm model in the back, can be supplemented by two 120 / 140mm fans in the lid.

Alternatively, the Corsair Carbide 400Q Midi Tower offers a variety of installation slots for radiators, including a slot for max. 280/360 mm radiators in the front. The back can be a single 120 radiator, e.g. Graphics cards with hybrid coolers, while the cover can accommodate a 240-mm heat exchanger.
