In addition to classic PC Tower Chieftec offers numerous compact housing in the Mini-ITX format. For these and generally more economical computer the CDP 120ITX was developed. The combination of the external black 120-watt power supply and a voltage converter board for installation in the housing supplies all economical compact machines particularly efficient - up to 87 percent efficiency in this performance class just amazing. Moreover, the combination comes complete fanless and therefore suitable even for silent computer. Passive Power Supplies are the dream of all silent enthusiasts, the Chieftec ITX PSU is priced but rather with middle-class ATX power supplies comparable.

Details

The external power supply converts the 230 Volt AC voltage from the mains to 12 volts DC. Only the small voltage converter board is installed in the computer itself. On this, the + 3.3V and + 5V voltage and the secondary stresses are generated with DC-DC elements. The terminals meet the needs of economical machines, tangling is thanks suitable short-assembled cable lengths avoided: In addition to the 20 + 4-pin connector (20 cm long) for the mainboard provides the CDP 120ITX via a 4-pin Molex components (20 centimeters) as well as three SATA connectors (30 till 48 centimeters). The processor is supplied (25 cm) over a 4-pin connector.
