However, all compact watercooling systems combines the basic structure: They consist of two parts - the radiator and the heat sink. While the radiator at the Liquid Freezer 240 is mounted on two 120-fan slots - preferably on top of the case - place the cooler on the CPU area. In the housing of the cooler, the pump is already installed. Since it is a closed circuit, the system thus does not require maintenance.

The large area designed bottom of the heat sink absorbs the heat of the processor and routes them efficiently thanks to copper to the water on. This in turn is pumped by the pump towards the radiator, where the cooling liquid flows through a fine lamellar structure and transfers heat to the air flowing through. Arctic draws on latest engine technology and provides up to 300 watts TDP maximum performance with only 2 watts of power consumption.

The Airflow through the radiator is produced by four low-noise, installed in push-pull configuration, 120-mm fan. The air is drawn to one side and on the other side is derived, whereby a powerful cooling is made possible. The speeds of all the fans are, based on the CPU temperature, on the PST function (PWM sharing feature) tax and adaptable.
