The kryoM.2 micro is simply clipped onto the SSD with the enclosed stainless steel clips made of spring steel. Beforehand, the enclosed heat-conducting pad is mounted between SSD and cooler. The cooling capacity is sufficient for many applications and the compact dimensions of the cooler is suitable for almost all motherboard manufacturers and models.

During assembly, the SSD is not mechanically stressed. The clips are attached from the side and then just clipped over the edge of the aluminum profile. The board edge is not touched.
