Details

Therefore, you should think of all necessary components and check the circuit for leaks before filling. With the aqua computer Dr. Drop testing device incl. Air pump you get a practical set, which can be the circuit of a water cooling already checked before filling on just such leaks.
The aqua computer Drop pressure tester at a glance:
- Set from dr. Drop pressure tester, air pump & accessories
- Pressure tester measures between 0 - 0.6 bar & is fully assembled
- A G1 / 4-inch female thread for connection to the water cooling
- With the air pump, a test pressure can be generated
Function and purpose of Dr. med. drop
Many will now wonder how such a check for leaks with Dr. Ing. Drop looks like. The answer to that is amazingly simple. After completing a water cooling system, Dr. Ing. Drop tester to be connected to the circuit. This is done via the existing G1 / 4-inch female thread, which is connected to the appropriate terminals e.g. can be mounted on an adapter, hose or reservoir. Then the system can be pressurized with the supplied pump. Aqua computer first recommends 550 mbar, which should be regulated to 500 mbar by unscrewing the pump via a drain valve. After setting the test pressure, you can leave the system for about 15 - 30 minutes. If no pressure drop is observed, the circuit keeps tight. However, should the pressure fall, you can, for example, go with a few drops of benzene or similar fast evaporating liquids on leak detection.

Incidentally, the pressure tester consists of a high-quality pressure gauge from Wika, which is the world leader in the production of mechanical pressure gauges. It is complemented by a CNC-milled connection terminal made of sturdy Delrin, which comes from aqua computer and comes pre-assembled with the manometer.

The tube of the air pump, however, consists of black anodized aluminum. In addition, it fits car valves, French valves and enclosed valve needle on ball valves. A practical bike holder is also included, this has the hole size for bottle holder and can be easily mounted.
