Antec Mercury 240, 240 mm format with dual aluminum radiator, the cooling performance and the resulting loudness are determined mainly by the cooling block made of 100% copper as well as the two 120 mm fans with ring- Lighting in blue. The fans have an efficient red blade design, which allows them to achieve extremely high airflow and static pressure. As a result of the reduced turbulence, the noise generation is therefore very low and the life expectancy is very high at 40,000 hours.

The design has kept Antec in the Mercury 240 complete water cooling relatively simple. The aluminum radiator is completely black lacquered and is complemented perfectly by the flexible, black hoses. In contrast, only the white pump with LED lighting adapts to the temperature and the ring-shaped lighting of the two fans. This makes the Mercury an optical highlight in the system.

The advantages of a complete water cooling are obvious. It is extremely cool, has a relatively low noise level, is highly compliant (here: many modern AMD and Intel sockets), does not have to be serviced and fits into many smaller housings, where towering tower air coolers can not be found. The connection to the power is via 3-pin or SATA connection, while the fans are controlled as usual via a 4-pin PWM connection from the main board.
