With the adapter offered here, it is possible to commission an M.2 SSD via a PCI Express slot of the mainboard. There are almost no limits to the compatibility: the adapter itself has a low overall height and is supplied with both a standard and a low profile slot screen. A plug-in spacer makes it possible to mount SSDs with the usual formats 22110, 2280, 2260 and 2242, and the PCIe slot also makes the adapter very flexible with its support of PCIe 1.0 / 1.1, 2.0 and 3.0.
