Details

Just remove the back of the Eisfach and attach the new D5 back. And just like that, you have a system with the power of the D5 pump.
 
On the right side of the back are two display spaces for 5mm LEDs, behind the window panel. This lets you create a unique look and illumination. On the left side there are two openings for filling or draining fluid. The final two 1/4” threads are meant for the inlet and outlet. Behind the inlet, a Bubble Down unit has been installed to prevent turbulence which could let air into the water circulation.

Manufacturer Created an Incomplete Kit

The D5 backside modification kit (and any other Alphacool Eisfach backside modification kits) do NOT include the 14 screws used to attach the backside to the reservoir. This is a problem as the different backsides are NOT the same thickness.

I was going to swap out the DC-LT backside with the D5 kit, but the screws that came with the original DC-LT reservoir are too short to use with the D5 backside.

Alphacool doesn't provide the longer screws nor a replacement o-ring with ANY of their Eisfach backside modification kits.
