Specially designed for the NUC boards, it is very space-saving and, above all, flat-shaped, but, in addition to these purely practical aspects, it also brings a very noble look to the table or behind the monitor.
A front of brushed aluminum makes the black Akasa Newton S7 a discreet but still stranger contemporary, which also fits perfectly into any hifi landscape as an HTPC dwelling. The front is broken only by two USB port openings, an audio port and an opening for mounting an IR receiver. With this, it is possible to remotely control the installed system? Ideal for a living room PC. There are also two small openings for microphones.
The top and outer edges are almost completely covered with aluminum cooling ribs, which makes sense in that the housing itself is the cooler and does not require a fan. That is, the NUC system works completely silent in the Akasa Newton S7. For this, the CPU and a contact surface of the housing come into direct contact.
Heat transfer pads are included for ideal heat transfer. In addition, VESA mounting screws, mainboard screws, rubber feet and all necessary cables and accessories are included in the scope of delivery in order to commission the minisystem (external power supply must be purchased separately) and at a VESA place. Via the Heatsink plate, the waste heat then flows uniformly into the housing and is delivered to the ambient air via the slats - absolutely silent!
