This recording device captured (HD) footage and guarantees a fluid HD gaming experience even with pass-through function, thanks to a second HDMI port, which acts as an output. This version includes PC-Free mode, in which the video material can be stored directly on an SD card. Therefore, it is not even necessary to have a PC for operation.

The Live Gamer Portable 2 only requires a small amount of CPU power during PC operation, which allows the PC to focus entirely on the game without being distracted by video processes in the background. The MP4 / H.264 format also generates smaller, space-saving files for full-HD recordings, which can be edited using ordinary post-editing software.

The hardware encoder guarantees stable transfer rates during playing, recording or streaming. With the support of a wide range of different resolutions and the analog and digital connections, the Live Gamer Portable provides maximum flexible connectivity with virtually any game platform and allows games from Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Wii U or A game PC or stream it.

Another feature is that the AVerMedia Live Gamer Portable 2 can also be connected directly to streaming platforms. For those who like to share their own playing experiences with other players, the Live Gamer Portable 2 generates maximum high-resolution 1080p recordings at full 60 FPS, which can be posted on social networks. This allows you to easily upload live games to YouTube Live, TwitchTV and Ustream directly with your own account and even allow individual RTMP settings.

The included REC-3 software saves not only special game highlights, but also live comments. The audio comments are triggered by a simple hotkey or by the "push to talk" option. An audio file can be saved separately for subsequent editing or distributed for live games over the Internet. In addition to the convenient recentral connection to streaming platforms, the Live Gamer Portable makes 2 own audio comments easier than ever.

The AVerMedia Live Gamer Portable is connected via USB and thus also receives the required power from desktop PC, laptop or mobile power bank.
