The 14-nm technology allows to accommodate more transistors on a smaller area, while at the same time decreases the energy requirement.

Monitors can be connected via three display port connectors, an HDMI or a DVI-D port on the graphics card. By Eyefinity technology up to four monitors can be connected in a multi-display setup. The HDMI connection in standard 2.0b transmits 4K / UHD resolution at 60 hertz and has HDCP 2.2 to send and receive encrypted signals (4K streaming, 4K Blu-Rays).

In order to exploit the full potential of the card in the future, new drivers from AMD or ASUS should be downloaded and installed at regular intervals.
