Overview

The ASUS PCE-AC51 AC750 Wireless LAN Adapter supports the 802.11ac standard, allowing the card to send and receive data over Wi-Fi at speeds of up to 300Mbps in the 2.4GHz frequency range. In the 5 GHz frequency range, up to 433 Mbps can be sent or received. Despite its improved bandwidth and signal coverage, the PCE-AC51 is backwards compatible with older networks.

This ensures that even older network hardware can be fully utilized. Due to the multiple transmission (multiple in / multiple out) of the radio signals, the connection stability is enormously increased since the data packet is transmitted almost without loss. This also results in a speed advantage as fewer packets have to be sent again.

The WPS (Wifi Protected Setup) function makes it easy to set up a secure WLAN. All you have to do is press the WPS button on the router and the PCE-AC51. Router and WLAN card now automatically match a secure WLAN password.

The ingenious antenna design provides up to 150% greater WLAN coverage. The ASUS PCE-AC51 can also function as a virtual access point and serves as a wireless WLAN access point for other network devices in this configuration.
